No Scalpel Vasectomy

What is it?

No Scalpel Vasectomy is a means of contraception for patients who would like a reliable method of permanent birth control.

The term “No Scalpel” means that there is no cutting of the scrotum, rather to gain access to the Vas Deferens, the tissue is gently spread apart to create a small single central opening in the scrotum. Through this opening both of the Vas Deferens (sperm conducting tubes) can be accessed and separated to result in permanent contraception.

Benefits of No Scalpel Vasectomy

  • Less Discomfort
  • No external stitches (sutures)
  • Fewer complications
  • Quicker healing
  • Smaller wound
  • Reliable and permanent contraception
